Help with linksys router setup?

ok i haven't set up the router yet i don't get to until christmas but it is a linksys 160n i have heard a lot problem's about it but i just don't think they are troubleshooting them well maybe but i believe it will be a good router anyways i have comcast high speed internet and i heard also that there are problems connecting to a linksys router but should i first try the routers way of set up or should i try this method i guess it is the shizzz for set up on comcast any help welcomed this is the link for the shizz way

again this if for first time setup|||I just bought one and who ever told you there were problems is full of crap! Put the disk in your drive BEFORE you even connect anything and follow the simple instructions. Its the EASIEST setup I have ever run into on a router. I also have comcast and didnt run into a hitch anywhere, took all of 15 minutes to set it up
