How do setup a linksys router wrt54gs2?

i'm trying setup a linksys router on my pc so i can use my wireless laptop,when i use the cd, i get an error message 312 no wired adapter detected,i'm using dsl internet.|||Linksys Tech support 24/7 (800) 326-7114
