How to setup a linksys WRT54gs router and Verizon DSL Westell 6100G?

I have a linksys WRT54gs and Verizon Westell 61000G modem. I don't have the linksys software and it can't be downloaded from their site. Currently I have the modem plugged into my computer. How in the world do I set all this up? I plugged everything in the way you would normally (internet plug into router internet plug, etc). However, It won;t work! HELP|||Plug in everything the way it should be. open a browser, and go to 192.168.1.1, the page for the router. Log in using admin as the password, no username. Change the connection type to PPPoE, and enter your DSL username and password. Save the settings. The router should establish a connection automatically at this point. Move to the status tab to verify that it says connected. If not, click the connect button. Once connected, try to access a website.
