I have a linksys router and it was setup without a password and i dont know how to access it. what do i do?

i want to get on it with my ipod touch and it shows up but when i click on it it just says unable to access and it doesnt even give me the option to put in a password. will someone help me.|||take the router back to the shop i would need to no more info but i would say its faulty
