Yes. First you should connect the phone line to the DSL modem, and then you should connect your DSL modem to your router. At this point, you can run the setup CD or you can access the router firmware directly by typing the IP address of the router into a web browser and hitting the %26lt;enter%26gt; key. The default address is usually, but not always, http://192.168.1.1
Check your manual for the default address for the specific router that you have.
