How can i setup my linksys router/modem model no. WAG200G with pldt dsl? pls help ty...?

i called the pldt dsl customer service and ask what is our username and password but they said that they dont provide one and that pldt dsl is connected automatically pls tell me what to do???|||First things you got to do is go to your browser and type in "192.168.1.1" in your address bar without the quotes.





It will prompt you for your username and password, and by default, username and password is "admin" on the WAG200G, unless you specified otherwise.





You will now be looking at the setup page of the router and it starts at the "basic setup" page, and this is what you have to do with the options provided:





Encapsulation: RFC 1483 Bridged


Multiplex: LLC





Internet IP address: 192.168.1.2


Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0


Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1


in the primary and secondary dns


type 58.89.254.9


and 58.69.254.5





Now make sure you enter all this information on your PC's network adapter too, by turning on static IPs.





Once you've done that, turn on DHCP on your router. On the same page:





Local IP Address: 192.168.2.1


Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0


Starting IP Address: 192.168.2.2





And you're good to go!
