Trying to setup my Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router and can't get past the first step please help?

During the setup when it has to Check Connection it stops quickly and says Linksys Easylink Advisor Setup Wizard requires a wired network adapter to continue. Error 312: No Wired Adapter Detected. It also says If your computer has a wired network adapter(i.e. ethernet port), then follow these steps:

1.) Enable your wired network adapter.

How do I get past this my computer does have an ethernet port.|||I would abandon the directions for using the software to configure your router and use the directions for manually setting up your router instead. They should be included in the user manual in later pagers.

Apparently the Linksys software doesn't recognize your configuration, you're using 64bit Windows, or it's just plain pathetic software. Use the manual configuration directions instead.
