How can I setup a linksys router with a modem that uses usb for internet instead of an ethernet cable?

i have yet to see a modem which exclusivly useses usb...


i bet it has an rj45 as well and you merely need to reset this.


otherwise, you wil need to use the nic on the primary machine and share/bridge the internet connection from usb to nic.





however, posting modem %26amp; router make/model may get you better answer...|||the usb port is more than likely for the computer not the modem. what is the model of the modem?|||That will not work. You will need an Ethernet connection from the modem to the Linksys router to make this setup work.
