So my problem is that when I try to access the linksys setup webpage by typing 192.168.1.1 it will disconnect me from the internet and have to reset the router for the internet to work again. Any ideas why this happens?|||go to run, cmd, click enter,then type "ipconfig" with out quotes. press enter , look at default gateway and type those numbers in the internet web address bar. Why? because it could be a different than the default numbers|||Have you tried doing a power cycle of your router before trying to access the page? That was an issue with me at one time.|||I don't know why it happens but I had the same exact router before I upgraded and I had the same issue. Mine was being caused by all the other things that were connected. I had to literally unplug all the other computers from the back of the router, go to the router's page and configure my settings, then rebooted the router and hooked up the computers again. It worked for me but like I said, I don't know why this model does that. My new Linksys doesn't cause a problem.
