Laptop with Linksys router setup help?

Okay, two years ago i bought a Linksys router for my laptop, and it worked fine. However, I have recently moved and now have a new internet provider. I no longer have my desktop computer and when i try to set up the router, my computer recognizes it, but the wireless will not work. Please help because I hate having to have my laptop in one spot|||Usually internet providers "lock" the modem to the computer it is set up on. So if you originally set it up on your desktop, you have to either redo the setup for your internet, or contact your service provider so they can reset which computer the modem is locked to.

Once this is done - requiring you to hook your laptop directly to the modem, set things up normally, by hooking your router to your modem, and connecting wirelessly.

Next,o go to your router config page, (either http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.2.1 - default password is "admin" u/n is either blank, or the name of your router (shown at the top of the sign in request)). then go to the "Setup" tab, and click "MAC Address Clone" from the bar below.

Make sure the radio button is set to "Enabled", and click the "Clone Your PC's MAC" button. Save your changes, and you should be set.
