Linksys router setup, how do i get the passphrase?

where do i find this out?|||Passphrase is your secret key on the router.If you have the passphrase, there is a generated key as well. If you forgot your passphrase that you have setup on the linksys router, check the default gateway on your computer because that is the IP address of your router. Usually it is 192.168.1.1. When you type 192.168.1.1 on your web browser it will ask your for username and password. username in linksys router is "blank" don't put anything on it and password is the pssword you have setup on the router. check out this link anyways, it's got some default password list for most common routers out there.|||IP address should be 192.168.1.1. There is no accountname. Password is Admin. Hope this helps...|||If that last post doesn't help, then reset the router by turning off your computer, unplugging the router power cord and holding down the reset button for 30-45 seconds. Then reset up the router again from the homepage. I've never had a passphrase on mine...just the network name and password and WEP key I made up.|||Hi

if it isnt go to the linksys website and they usually have a "Quick Start Guide" or something of sort that will have





To find your router number look on the bottom|||Create your own on the router FIRST, it's all explained in the router User Manual in the Wireless section.





Then, tell Windows the pass phrase you created, when prompted for it.
