Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54G2 setup?

my Linksys router CD isn't working is there somewhere I can download the setup?|||I believe you can factory default them by holding the reset button for 5 seconds. Then locally connect a computer to it and type in the default gateway into your web browser's address bar. The default gateway should be 192.168.0.1 for this router. If this doesn't connect you to your routers interface I included a link to help you find out what it is. Through this interface you can make the necessary changes to your router. The link below is the download site for Cisco. Just enter the information from your router and you should be able to download the drivers and software to install your router.

Al|||connect you modem to router (linksys) then from linksys get another cable and connect it to computer.





now go to command prompt -- type ip config /all


you will get lot of thing like ip address, ipv6 address .... check out the default gate way ..


it should not be starting with 169.x.x.x





if you get somthing else usually 192.168.1.1 you are good.. open you browser and then enter the address you will get the setup page ... it would definately ask for username and password...





check out the linksys manuall or some web site to find the username and password..
