Trying to setup Linksys wrt54g wireless router. Should I run setup on the existing desktop or new laptop wire?

-less? I think the problem lies there, but I don't want to ruin the existing internet access. Linksys Version 6 setup gets stuck on #8 (password). Should I just reset everything...setup disk in the desktop pc?|||If you really forget the password, so you have no choice but to reset it. The configuration isn't difficult and only take few minutes. Whether you configure it in the desktop or laptop doesn't matter, the computer only acts as a console and the configuration settings will be saved in the router. It's always best to configure using cable since the WiFi key isn't applicable to cable so it will not disrupt your configuration job
